Job Description

Avenir Group is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of regulatory excellence.

Responsibilities
  • You will oversee and implement our company's compliance policies and procedures in line with regulations and industry best practices.
  • You will conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues, ensuring our operations are aligned with relevant regulations and laws.
  • You will provide compliance training to all employees, ensuring they are aware of and adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • You will act as the primary point of contact for all FCA-related matters, including license applications, audits, and communications.
  • You will respond to regulatory inspections and investigations, handle compliance issues and complaints, and stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Law, or a related field is required for this position.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of compliance experience in the financial asset management industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory regulations and compliance frameworks, with extensive compliance management experience, is essential for this role.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate cross-departmental collaboration, are crucial for success in this position.
  • Proficient in using compliance management tools and software, relevant compliance certifications (e.g., CFA, CIA, CRCM) are preferred.
  • Experience working with the FCA is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with compliance and regulatory policies in the crypto industry.

Salary: £70,000 per annum.
