Mental Health Assistant Job Description

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Mental Health Assistant to join our team in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have some experience working with children and be passionate about supporting their mental health and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will have a compassionate and empathetic approach, with excellent communication skills. They will work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement strategies to support students with additional needs or diagnoses.

About the Role:

  • Work with students aged 4-16 to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized guidance and support to students.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to implement strategies and interventions.
  • Inspire and motivate students while building their confidence.
