Job Description

A Learning Support Assistant is required to work with Academics Ltd, providing support in secondary schools across the Oxford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of classrooms during teacher absences by following set lesson plans and managing student behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow set lesson plans to maintain classroom discipline and ensure students are engaged
  • Manage student behavior, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment
  • Provide additional support to students as needed, helping them to achieve their full potential
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
