Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Lead to join our team at Expleo Technology. As a key member of our Configuration and Data Management Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the resource demands and setting strategies, policies, and procedures to support design and engineering activities covering aircraft modification and support programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the resource demands and set strategies, policies, and procedures to support design and engineering activities.
- Develop and implement new strategies within programmes and delivery teams with an emphasis on single common approach across multiple disciplines and programmes to drive efficiency.
- Establish guidelines and rules for all functions/levels and introduce suitable toolsets to enable successful configuration management.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of design lifecycle management and processes in aircraft programmes and configuration principals and data management.
- Professional Configuration Management is critical to the organisation's continued success.
- Experience of CMMI, ISO 9000, MAOS, and DAOS requirements, and ability to effectively influence, interface, and communicate with multiple levels of management and colleagues in other engineering disciplines.
- Conversant with and practical knowledge of CM Standards, such as Def Stan 05-57 and 05-123, EIA 649, ISO 10008, ITIL, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of PLM/PDM toolsets such as Windchill or Enovia.
