Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Specialist to join our team at First Recruitment Group - IT. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO) team, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success while safeguarding our commercial interests.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing multi-million-pound initiatives and overseeing several smaller ventures. They will be responsible for leading the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring financial performance, maintaining contractual compliance, and managing procurement.
You will oversee the Quantity Surveyors, providing governance, consistency, and expert guidance across assigned projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for new employment with a company that understands the importance of securing the right people.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within Construction, Design, and Management (CDM) projects, ideally EPC with electrical, mechanical, and civil scope.
- Expertise in NEC4 contracts (Options A, C, and E) and bespoke forms of contracts.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001, CDM15, and Health & Safety at Work standards.
- Degree qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Experience managing projects up to £50 million or multiple smaller projects.
- Excellent knowledge of construction industry practices, including procurement routes, value management, and cost monitoring.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proficiency in cost management, forecasting, and CVR reporting.
Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
