About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Quality Manager to join our team at Mountain Healthcare. As a Forensic Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our forensic healthcare services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing an effective quality management system, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including ISO 15189 and the Forensic Science Regulators requirements.

You will work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain our accreditation status. Your expertise will be essential in advising on key decisions, dealing with issues, and liaising with external contacts.

As a senior figure, you will represent Mountain Healthcare on a regional and national stage, influencing the landscape of quality management. You will be responsible for leading an audit program to test our quality management system, analyzing performance data to spot areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a quality management system that meets accreditation standards
  • Lead and develop a team of quality assurance specialists
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 15189 and the Forensic Science Regulators requirements
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Represent Mountain Healthcare on a regional and national stage
  • Lead an audit program to test our quality management system
  • Analyze performance data to spot areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant subject and/or proven relevant work experience
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license
  • Experience of providing high-quality documents
  • Good computer skills
  • Document quality assurance and formatting
  • Previous supervisor/managerial experience
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and in written format through reports to senior management
  • Good problem-solving skills
