About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Programme Manager to join our team at Burton and South Derbyshire College. As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Level 3 Musical Theatre course, ensuring its smooth operation and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach musical theatre courses to students of varying levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong knowledge of musical theatre repertoire, including singing, acting, and dance skills.
  • Experience in teaching or leading musical theatre courses, preferably in a further education setting.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
  • Qualified to Level 2 English and Maths, or equivalent.

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
