Pastoral Support Educator

A Secondary alternative provision is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to provide pastoral, social, emotional and well-being support for children across the school.
This role offers a Temp to Perm position in Burnley, working Full-time (8:30 – 3:30pm) with a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience, estimated at £25,000-£32,000 per annum.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Assisting with the implementation of individualised education or behaviour plans for students.
- Providing one-on-one support or small group support to help students overcome academic challenges and develop social and emotional skills.
The ideal candidate will have the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Teaching Personnel offers all its registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
