Pastoral Support Officer Position

The successful candidate will have strong behaviour management skills and be dedicated to making a positive impact on all pupils.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver 1-2-1 support to students, providing guidance and pastoral care.
  2. Work closely with the Behavioural Manager to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with challenging behaviours.
  3. Conduct home visits to provide additional support and ensure student engagement.
  4. Manage attendance records and implement interventions to improve student attendance.
  5. Provide ongoing pastoral support to students, addressing their emotional and social needs.
Requirements:
  • Dedication to making a positive impact on all pupils.
  • Knowledge and understanding of working with students who have Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and Social and Emotional Behaviour Difficulties.
