We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team at the London Chinese Community Centre. As an integral part of our small team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of services and information to the public.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, including daily cash collection, maintaining records, and assisting with events. You will also be required to work closely with our team to promote and fundraise for the centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping;
  • Assist with event planning and execution, including setup, registration, and cleanup;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including membership records, statistical reports, and class registrations;
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our members and visitors;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that promote the centre's mission and goals.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Requirements:
  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent with Grade B or above in English Language and Mathematics;
  • DBS clearance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to speak one of the main Chinese dialects (Cantonese or Mandarin) is an advantage;
  • Computer literate with MS Office software, including PowerPoint and Excel.

This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits. The full-time position involves 35 hours per week. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
