Job Description for Administration Support Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Administration Support Coordinator to join our team at the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) in Leeds. As an Administration Support Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to our members and stakeholders, working closely with the Regional Service Manager and line managing administration colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing staff, working in a fast-moving customer service environment, and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will need to have a clear understanding of completing and setting business objectives, developing, and implementing professional standards and policy, and be able to take ownership of projects.

In this varied role, you will deliver an excellent, confidential service and, by utilising your experience of developing and managing a team, ensure high performance for yourself and others. Our hybrid working model allows for up to 60% of your working time to be carried out from home, with at least 40% of your working time spent working in person.

We offer a competitive pay structure with annual pay progression until you reach the top of the salary scale. The estimated salary for this role is £36,705, with opportunities for annual pay progression.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to our members and stakeholders
  2. Work closely with the Regional Service Manager and line manage administration colleagues
  3. Coordinate the delivery of regional work within the Yorkshire & the Humber regional office
  4. Develop and implement professional standards and policy
  5. Take ownership of projects and deliver results
