We are seeking an experienced Urban Development Specialist to join our team at Rise Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our utilities, land management, and forestry teams to secure statutory consents for operational developments and advising colleagues and clients on planning matters and rural planning issues across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the utilities, land management, and forestry teams to secure statutory consents for operational developments
* Advise colleagues and clients on planning matters and rural planning issues across Scotland
* Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies for land management and development
Requirements:
* Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
* Relevant town planning experience from a utilities, rural, or land management background
* Strong understanding of planning laws and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
