Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Antony James Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing and Forecasting: Develop accurate cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of projects, including tracking changes to the design and construction work, adjusting budget projections accordingly, and ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.
  • Material Sourcing and Procurement: Source and procure construction materials, ensuring that they meet the required quality and quantity standards.
  • Contractor Management: Manage relationships with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including project managers, site managers, and clients.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Main Contracting, with a strong background in Quantity Surveying.
  • Qualifications: Hold a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
  • License: Hold a full UK driving license.
