About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Doctor to join our team at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. As a Senior Locally Employed Doctor in Paediatrics, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to our patients, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of our paediatric services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients in our Paediatric Department, including general paediatrics and neonatal intensive care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our paediatric services, including audit and quality improvement projects.
  • Participate in teaching and training activities, including undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Requirements
  • Fully registered medical practitioner with GMC registration.
  • MRCPCH part 1 and equivalent postgraduate qualification in paediatrics.
  • Demonstrated experience in paediatrics, including general paediatrics and neonatal intensive care.
  • Awareness and involvement in audit and management.
  • Evidence of interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
