Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily needs of children and young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Participate in weekend activities, holidays, and trips to enhance the children's experiences and create lasting memories.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the safety and protection of the children.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to the young people, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar social care setting, with a valid UK driving license and current Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • A resilient and empathetic nature, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
