The successful candidate will have a strong background in podiatry, with experience in delivering high-quality, timely, and accessible services to patients. They will also have excellent organisational and clinical skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based comprehensive assessment, review, and treatment to patients with moderate and high-risk diabetic foot problems.
  • Work closely with the Diabetes Foot Protection Service team to deliver high-quality, timely, and accessible services to patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and reduce the risk of developing active limb-threatening or life-threatening diabetic foot problems.

Requirements:

  • Valid HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate training to master's level, advanced clinical practice, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the area of specialism.
  • Sound demonstrable knowledge of NICE clinical guidelines relating to diabetic foot problems.
