About This Opportunity

Hampshire County Council invites applications from enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our On-Call Fire Professional team. As a key responder to emergencies, you will make a tangible difference in the lives of our community members.

In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with your colleagues to identify and mitigate risks, promoting fire safety and preventing incidents. Regular training sessions will equip you with the necessary skills to handle complex emergency scenarios, including community fire safety, flooding, and road accidents.

This demanding position requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will need to react swiftly and safely to emergency situations. Our comprehensive training program ensures that you receive the necessary support to excel in this challenging yet rewarding role.

We require candidates who are willing to commit time to their duties and reside or work within 4 minutes of the Fire Station. A Standard DBS Check is mandatory for this position.
