Commercial and Sales Director

Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Waste and Recycling Manager to join our team in West Sussex. As a key member of our commercial waste team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial waste teams, ensuring effective resource deployment, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Purpose of Role
- To develop and implement a range of commercial services, including commercial waste and recycling, to ensure the best possible return on resources.
- To lead the development of new revenue generation initiatives and ensure their successful implementation.
- To build and promote the Commercial Waste brand, increasing awareness of our services and driving business growth.
- To work closely with the Waste & Recycling and Litter & Cleansing operational team to ensure efficient service delivery.
- To ensure contract generation meets agreed targets, from initial customer contact to sales conversion.
- To manage new business accounts, ensuring all elements of individual contracts are running smoothly.
- To maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through transparent relationship management.
- To oversee the management of complaints, client letters, and MP enquiries regarding income-generating services.
- To possess strong communication skills, able to communicate with diverse customers and stakeholders.
- Experience in the Waste industry and Marketing and Sales is desirable.
This is a temporary role covering maternity leave for a 7-month period. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
