Technical Sales Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Sales Administrator to join our team at GHA Recruitment Ltd. As a Technical Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by providing administrative assistance, managing customer communications, and processing sales orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with internal and external customers via phone and email to provide timely and accurate information.
  • Analyze incoming requests, identify anomalies, and respond to customer communications in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and check initial quotations in line with discount policies and sales manager guidance.
  • Submit quotations to customers and ensure follow-up by sales managers as needed.
  • Process customer purchase orders in our local ERP system.
  • Effectively communicate changes to dispatch and warehouse regarding customer orders.
  • Prepare customer-requested shipping documents, labels, and other necessary materials.
  • Process sales returns and credits as appropriate.
  • Support customers with updates on existing orders and requests.
  • Collate and understand risk assessment information and complete the Master Checklist for orders as required.
  • Collaborate with and assist others to contribute to the success of the sales and service teams.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Experience working within an ERP system.
  • Ability to identify component parts from drawings.
  • Experience from a mechanical engineering environment would be beneficial.
  • Important experience in export regulations post-Brexit.
  • Ability to work with others and be part of a fast-moving team.
  • Good communication skills with both internal and external customers.
