Technical Sales Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Technical Sales Administrator to join our team at GHA Recruitment Ltd. As a Technical Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team in communicating with internal and external customers, analyzing incoming requests, and responding to customer communications in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with internal and external customers via phone and email
  • Analyze incoming requests and identify anomalies
  • Respond to customer communications with relevant information
  • Prepare and check initial quotations in line with discount policies and sales manager guidance
  • Submit quotations to customers and follow up as needed
  • Process customer purchase orders in our local ERP system
  • Effectively communicate changes to dispatch and warehouse regarding customer orders
  • Prepare customer requested shipping documents and labels
  • Process sales returns and credits as appropriate
  • Support customers with updates on existing orders and requests
  • Collate and understand risk assessment information and complete the Master Checklist for orders as required
  • Collaborate with and assist others to contribute to the success of the sales and service teams
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Experience working within an ERP system
  • Ability to identify component parts from drawings
  • Experience from a mechanical engineering environment would be beneficial
  • Important experience in export regulations post-Brexit
  • Ability to work with others and be part of a fast-moving team
  • Good communication skills with both internal and external customers
