Job SummaryWe are seeking a Technical Sales Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with internal and external customers, analyzing incoming requests, and responding to customer communications in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with internal and external customers via phone and email.
- Analyze incoming requests, identify anomalies, and respond to customer communications with relevant information.
- Address customer questions, issues, and needs based on the initial request.
- Prepare and check initial quotations in line with discount policies and Sales Manager guidance.
- Submit quotations to customers and ensure follow-up by Sales Managers as needed.
- Process customer purchase orders in our local ERP system.
- Effectively communicate changes to dispatch/warehouse regarding customer orders.
- Prepare customer-requested shipping documents, labels, and stamping.
- Process Sales Returns & Credits as appropriate.
- Support customers with updates on existing orders and requests.
- Collate and understand risk assessment information and complete the Master Checklist for orders as required.
- Collaborate with and assist others to contribute to the success of the sales and service teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Experience working within an ERP system.
- Ability to identify component parts from drawings.
- Experience from a Mechanical engineering environment would be beneficial.
- Important experience in export regulations post-Brexit.
- Ability to work with others and be part of a fast-moving team.
- Good communication skills with both internal and external customers.
- 35k to 39k depending on experience.
- Hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 16:30 and Friday 08:30 to 15:30, a 36.5-hour week.
