Spearhead the global communications and events strategy for one of the world's leading business schools, elevating its profile and reputation on a global scale.

This pivotal leadership role requires a proven track record in developing and executing effective communications strategies, with expertise in media relations, social media, internal communications, and events management.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead a high-performing team and oversee media strategy, securing impactful domestic and international coverage, and managing proactive and reactive media activities.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership and team management experience, with a strong ability to mentor and drive high performance in communications teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering an integrated communications and events strategy to support the School's goals
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing team of Media Managers, Events Manager, Social Media Manager, and Internal Communications Manager
  • Overseeing media strategy, securing impactful domestic and international coverage, and managing proactive and reactive media activities
  • Evaluating performance across media, social media, events, and internal communications, using data insights to inform future strategies

The salary for this role is £56,136 per annum, including the Oxford University Weighting of £1,500 per annum, plus benefits such as hybrid working, membership of the Oxford staff pension scheme, discounted bus travel, subsidised onsite catering, and cycle loan scheme.
