Housekeeping Floor Porter

At Raffles London at The OWO, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Housekeeping Floor Porter to join our Rooms Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service in our guest floors.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure service areas, guest corridors, and back-of-house stairs are always kept clean and tidy.
- Perform routine and spring cleaning duties to consistently meet and exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain storage areas within the department to a high standard.
- Support moving furniture from rooms, applying manual handling measures for press junkets and VIP setups.
- Respond to all reasonable requests from Housekeepers, Room Attendants, and guests in a timely manner.
- Carry out spring cleaning duties as directed by the Floor Housekeeper.
- Anticipate guest needs to exceed expectations and effectively manage difficult service situations.
- Ensure storage rooms are clean, free of rubbish, and neatly presented, with updated stock lists.
- Take on additional responsibilities in the absence of the line manager or senior employee.
- Follow the lost property procedure.
- Adhere to Raffles London grooming guidelines.
- A proven track record of providing high levels of service under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
- An understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule when required.
