PR Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced PR Manager to join our team at Garmin (Europe) Limited. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness and consideration through earned media in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver best-in-class PR strategies across print, digital, and broadcast media
  • Manage media relationships and cultivate new opportunities
  • Lead the management and development of the PR specialist
  • Manage press strategies for product launches and develop unique PR campaigns to drive awareness and engagement
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance to monitor effectiveness and measure ROI

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in driving outstanding media coverage across all media channels
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK & Ireland media landscape
  • Successful track record of driving coverage beyond product launch reviews and maximizing share of voice
  • Experience in creating and delivering broadcast PR campaigns (in-house or with agency support)
  • Passion for sports & fitness and experience in line managing, coaching, and developing talent
