Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at Butler Rose. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing management accounts for multiple companies within the group, including P&L, cashflow, variance analysis, accruals, and prepayments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of management accounts for multiple companies within the group
  • Preparing P&L, cashflow, variance analysis, accruals, and prepayments
  • Analysing financial information to ascertain the company's performance
  • Reviewing bank reconciliations as needed
  • Assisting with group reporting
  • Ad-hoc bookkeeping where necessary

Requirements:

  • Part qualified or nearly / newly qualified through ACCA / ACA
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working on management accounts
  • A background working within a practice who bill chargeable hours would be beneficial
  • Experience preparing P&L, cashflow, variance analysis, etc.
  • Experience analysing company accounts for profitability
  • A keen mind for learning and an adaptable and flexible approach is essential
