Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Lead Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in the design, build, and management of our on-premise servers, virtualisation, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Build Infrastructure: You will be responsible for designing, building, and managing our on-premise servers, virtualisation, and cloud infrastructure, including physical and virtual hardware.
  2. Ensure Scalability, Reliability, and Security: You will ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our infrastructure and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.
  3. Monitor and Maintain Performance: You will monitor and maintain the performance and availability of our infrastructure, including regular maintenance such as patching and updates.
  4. Lead Infrastructure Projects: You will lead infrastructure projects from initial scoping to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  5. Document and Report: You will ensure our network and infrastructure documentation is up-to-date and accurate, and report on infrastructure performance, incidents, and improvements.
Requirements
  1. Infrastructure Experience: You will have demonstrable knowledge and experience with infrastructure, including virtualisation, physical servers, and storage.
  2. Technical Skills: You will be proficient in Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Failover Manager, and other relevant technologies.
  3. Cloud Experience: You will have experience with Azure Management, including CM's, NSG rules, Storage accounts, and other relevant skills.
  4. Networking Knowledge: You will have in-depth working knowledge of networking principles and technologies, including VLAN, CIDR, LLDP, VRRP, SNP, and other relevant skills.
  5. Project Management: You will have ownership of project work, with the ability to work through scoping a solution through to implementation and maintenance.
