About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Specialist to join our team at GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED. This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement the regulator's internal corporate governance framework.

As a Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for leading on proposals for the Regulator's internal corporate governance processes and supporting the transition of governance from the Regulator to a fully operational organisation.

You will need to develop and implement governance policies and procedures, following guidance and best practice to support the specific needs of the Regulator's governance framework.

This role requires a strong understanding of corporate governance principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on proposals for the Regulator's internal corporate governance processes
  • Support the transition of governance from the Regulator to a fully operational organisation
  • Develop and implement governance policies and procedures
  • Produce high-quality papers and provide advice and administrative support
  • Work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure issues are brought to the Board, Committees, and other governance fora at the right time

Desirable Skills:

  • Interest in and/or experience working in football and the issues in the governance and regulation of the game
  • Previous experience working on corporate governance

Working Arrangements:
