As a Global Finance Professional at Informa Connect Limited, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with our international team to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations according to Balance Sheet Integrity guidelines and control frameworksReview the accuracy of all calculations, postings and processes within the team's remitEvaluate and escalate issues as appropriate to your Finance Manager in a timely mannerOffer support & guidance to colleagues on difficult issues as an expert & leader in the teamCollaborate with other teams on special projects, including testing for new systems, developing new processes, and implementing SSC wide projects introduced by Senior Managers or Global Process OwnersAssist with the delivery of smooth integration/due diligence activitySupervise Intercompany process and liaise with other SSC employees as necessaryTrain and support the Capgemini BPO team that support CoE activitiesWork effectively with internal and external auditorsEnsure all statutory and regulatory deadlines for the team are metIdentify and report control risks and instances of fraud (both actual and attempted) to management as early as possibleRequirements
Strong academic background, Accounting degree preferableA qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience of working in a large team with mixed levels of experienceSolid knowledge and understanding of SSC processes and how these fit into the wider environmentKnowledge of working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flowsExcellent knowledge and understanding of all finance processes including best practice, people, processes and technologyConfident in how to lead and guide a team through challenging periodsGood working knowledge of dealing with mergers, acquisitions and disposalsGood working knowledge of lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies preferredStrong people manager who actively engages and embraces talent management conversationsEstimated Salary Range: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
