We're seeking an Incident Response Support Specialist to join our client's Data Protection team, a global technology company, for a 12-18 month assignment.

Your role will involve supporting the Data Protection team on its incident management and response program, focusing on assessing and notifying personal data breaches and security incidents under relevant European legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting lawyers in assessing and notifying personal data breaches and security incidents under relevant European legislation
  • Engaging with European regulators in relation to reported breaches
  • Drafting documentation to comply with incident notification requirements
  • Supporting high-impact projects to develop and improve the incident management and response program
  • Coordinating with cross-functional partners to implement improvements to policies and processes

You'll be part of a supportive and dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including at a law firm or in-house experience
  • In-depth knowledge of GDPR, ePD, EECC, NIS D incident reporting requirements
  • Experience working with regulators and responding to regulatory enquiries
  • A project management mindset and strong organisational skills

Experience working in a fast-paced technology company would be beneficial but not essential. This is a great opportunity to work in a great team while getting exposure to high-quality work from a global household name.

This assignment will be full-time on a hybrid model with some days working from the London office. It is expected to run for 12-18 months.
