S-RM Intelligence and Risk Consulting is seeking an Incident Response Specialist to join its team in London. Estimated salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with restoration and recovery during cyber incidents, developing plans, policies, and training to lead our US & APAC restoration and recovery capabilities.

  • Providing on-site restoration support, including supporting clients locally at their data centres or office locations.
  • Developing comprehensive understanding of standard backup solution practices and data restoration.
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working across the full lifecycle of security incidents to help clients respond and recover.
  • Developing and implementing plans, policies, and training to lead our US & APAC restoration and recovery capabilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years or more relevant experience in IT Engineering, System Administration, or Infrastructure and Networking.
  • Demonstrated track record of deploying skills in IR scenarios.
  • Knowledge of virtualisation (VMware ESXi / Hyper-V) and Cloud-hosted (AWS / Azure / GCP) configuration.
