Project Engineer Job Description

At Russell Taylor Group Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Skipton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and upkeep of lifecycle refurbishment/replacement on manufacturing equipment and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead factory-based projects to meet business targets and priorities.
  • Identify areas of process improvement and implement recommendations.
  • Supervise contractors and lead technical investigations as required.
  • Generate protocols and reports, making recommendations where appropriate.
  • Provide technical information to all functions within the business.
  • Lead project teams to completion within agreed budget and time constraints.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified engineer with an electrical bias.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or process-related industries.
  • Demonstration of management of capital budgets (CAPEX).
  • Lean manufacturing and PLC interrogation & automation skills.
