Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are working with a leading national business to recruit a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Skipton. This is a fast-paced role in an automated facility, requiring a strong background in electrical maintenance and automation.

The Ideal Candidate
  • NVQ Level 3 trained
  • Experience in automated manufacturing environments
  • Background in electrical maintenance, automation, or multiskilled maintenance
The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Team Leader to provide effective support and complete end-of-shift reports.

You will also be responsible for identifying the root cause of automation breakdowns, prioritizing corrective actions, and collaborating with operational stakeholders to improve automation outputs. Additionally, you will work on continuous improvement projects, from conception to implementation, to enhance machinery performance.
