Pharmacy Technician Team Lead for Procurement and Distribution

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to lead our Procurement and Distribution Services team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a senior member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines, procurement at best value to the NHS, and implementing changes to improve our working practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and management to the Procurement and Distribution Services team, ensuring that they have the necessary training, resources, and support to deliver high-quality services.
- Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure the best value for the NHS, while ensuring compliance with MHRA requirements for holders of a Wholesale Dealers license.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all aspects of procurement and distribution services are safe and of high quality, meeting the needs of our patients and stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other pharmacy service leads and networks to ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders within the wider Trust and commercial clients of our Wholesale supply chain.
