Pharmacy Procurement and Distribution Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Procurement and Distribution Manager to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Procurement and Distribution (P&D) Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient procurement and distribution of medicines across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Distribution Services: Assist the P&D Team Leader in providing high-quality patient-centered procurement and distribution services, including medicine storage, aligned with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Service Planning and Development: Contribute to the planning, development, monitoring, audit, evaluation, and delivery of P&D services across the Trust.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that working practices meet medicines legislation and professional, local, and national guidelines.
- Leadership and Management: Provide professional leadership and management of all aspects of P&D services, including staff management and training.
- Contract Management: Manage regional and national contracts and ensure departmental compliance.
- Training and Development: Ensure that appropriate training is provided and documented for all staff working in the area.
