About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible individual to join our team as an Emergency Housing Coordinator. As a key member of our out of hours team, you will be responsible for arranging emergency housing on behalf of the Derbyshire Districts and Boroughs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess eligibility for emergency housing and book bed and breakfast or other accommodation as required
  • Organise transport for individuals as needed
  • Provide a professional and empathetic service to callers, ensuring quality of service is delivered
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, to cover our out of hours service
