About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Renfrew. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely cost and value reporting for projects, as well as supporting the Commercial Managers requirements for reporting at business unit level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting for projects
  • Support the Commercial Managers requirements for reporting at business unit level
  • Ensure accurate forecasting of revenue, margin and cash flow for live and upcoming projects
  • Challenge Project Managers on resources and cost on live and upcoming projects
  • Ensure contractual requirements are met, including adherence to contract schedules for valuations, certification and invoicing
Requirements
  • Backed by a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
  • Previous experience of the construction industry, preferably holding a position in the industry for the past 5 years
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
