About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Renfrew. As a key member of our Major Projects division, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contract management expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure accurate and timely cost and value reporting for projects. You will also be responsible for forecasting revenue, margin, and cash flow for live and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercial and contract management expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Ensure accurate and timely cost and value reporting for projects
  • Forecast revenue, margin, and cash flow for live and upcoming projects
  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure commercial requirements are met
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry. You will also need to have excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact well with team members and stakeholders. You will also be able to challenge Project Managers on resources and cost, and ensure that contractual requirements are met.
