Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuary to join our Reinsurance Business Group at XL CATLIN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the regulatory reporting and submissions for our Reinsurance Business Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement actuarial models and methodologies to support regulatory reporting and submissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide expert actuarial advice and guidance to support business decisions.
  • Lead and participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to improve actuarial processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and business partners.
Requirements
  • Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or equivalent.
  • Substantial reserving experience and a strong understanding of actuarial principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insightful recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience with actuarial software and systems.
