Job Title: Reinsurance Actuary

Join our team at Guy Carpenter (Middle East) LTD as a Reinsurance Actuary, where you will play a key role in helping our clients adapt to emerging opportunities and achieve profitable growth.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reinsurance Actuary to join our team in Dubai or London. As a Reinsurance Actuary, you will be responsible for proposing actuarial services and valuations to regional insurance and reinsurance companies across IMEA, based on their current and future portfolios and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act independently to propose actuarial services and valuations to regional insurance and reinsurance companies across IMEA.
  • Create and modify complex actuarial models to assess risk and develop pricing strategies for a range of risk exposures.
  • Expand client services beyond reinsurance transactions to drive business development.
  • Direct team to build complex models to assess risk and develop pricing strategies for a range of risk exposures.
  • Advise senior management on issues, progress, etc., regularly.
  • Communicate strategically with brokers, re-insurers, and clients to anticipate client's needs and drive usage of reinsurance actuarial services.
  • Ensure continuous improvement on tools development, modernization and automation.
  • Project management: Follow up on CAT model developments, Event response reports, READY opportunities development, new capabilities development, and other projects required based on brokers 'needs.
  • Implement monetization strategy of our tools and analytics services to grow additional revenue stream.
Requirements:
  • You are a Fellow Actuary with strong experience in Non-Life reinsurance.
