Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students, incorporating industry-standard equipment and techniques.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring they meet the needs of our students and the requirements of the hairdressing and barbering industry.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, supporting students to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver vocational hairdressing courses, ensuring they are relevant and effective in preparing students for the world of work.
  • Participate in curriculum development, ensuring our courses meet the changing needs of the hairdressing and barbering industry.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above qualification in Hairdressing is essential.
  • Experience as a hairdresser/barber/hair stylist is essential.
  • Desirable to have a teaching qualification and experience working within education as a teacher.
