Hairdressing and Barbering Educator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hairdressing and Barbering Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Hairdressing and Barbering Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential and develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the hairdressing and barbering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students, including practical and theoretical lessons
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans, ensuring students meet their learning objectives
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring they meet the needs of our students and the industry
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance your teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Level 3 or above qualification in Hairdressing is essential
- Experience as a hairdresser/barber/hair stylist is essential
- Desirable to have a teaching qualification and experience working in education
