About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Privacy Operations Specialist to join our team at Kyndryl UK Limited. As a key member of our Data Governance Office, you will be responsible for developing and driving privacy compliance operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement privacy compliance programs, ensuring adherence to global regulatory requirements, including EU, US, and parallel international accountability requirements.
  • Manage and maintain privacy management tools and offerings, such as OneTrust.
  • Collaborate with the CIO, CISO, Procurement, Marketing, and other teams to ensure privacy, cybersecurity, data governance, AI, and supply chain management operations align with our strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance on the collection, use, and processing of personal data, as well as the use of cookies, pixels, and other web-tracking technologies.
  • Respond to data subject requests related to these areas.
  • Manage, update, and curate internal and external guidance and content concerning privacy, cybersecurity, data governance, AI, and supply chain management.

Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will need a proven understanding of global regulatory requirements in privacy and cybersecurity, technical and process skills, and the following experience and skills:

  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of international data privacy, cybersecurity, and data governance laws and regulations.
  • 7+ years of experience managing global privacy operations in-house.
  • Experience with privacy management tools and offerings.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work as part of diverse and multi-cultural teams.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across business functions.
  • Demonstrated business judgment and ability to rationalize operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in law, accounting, or audit from an accredited university.
  • Certification in privacy law or management.
  • Additional language(s) would be an advantage.
  • Experience working in the technology industry (IT, outsourcing, managed services, or cloud computing industries) and/or regulated industry.
