Learning Support Specialist

We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking a highly skilled Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Nurture Learning, an all-through, independent specialist school providing high-quality education to learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). The ideal candidate will have experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and a passion for delivering individualised support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with complex behaviours, promoting positive relationships, and motivating students to engage in their learning. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualised support to students with SEMH and SEND
- Building strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers
- Developing and implementing behaviour management strategies
- Collaborating with the therapy team to support student wellbeing
