An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to lead the development of specialist therapies services at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and committed Consultant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with a passion for working in the field of sexual violence to join our well-established team. This is a permanent post, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to bring their expertise and leadership skills to further enhance clinical service delivery.

The Havens, London's Sexual Assault Referral Centre, provides comprehensive forensic, medical, advocacy and psychological therapy aftercare services. As a member of our Senior Management Team, you will provide professional leadership across our Children and Young People, Transitions and Adult Therapies services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance regarding the psychological issues related to specialist medical services for sexual assault, sexual health, and other related mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement plans for psychological treatment and/or management, employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy.
  • Exercise full responsibility and autonomy for the treatment and discharge of clients from the Therapies Service.
