We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Oncology Nurse Manager to join our team at Circle Health Group.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Oncology Ward, providing clinical leadership and driving excellence in patient care. You will work closely with the nursing team to maintain and enhance customer service and satisfaction, while ensuring the ward runs efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Oncology Ward team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and efficient ward operations.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with NMC standards and Circle Health Group policies.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure the ward has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies.
  • Valid NMC Registration.
  • Experience working in an acute healthcare sector in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of NMC Code of Accountability and Circle Health Group policies and procedures.
