We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Weekend Community Care Companion to join our team at Home Instead Wandsworth, Lambeth & Dulwich. As a Weekend Community Care Companion, you will provide essential support and enjoyment to our clients, ensuring their well-being in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with our clients, offering companionship and care during weekend visits.
  • Create a welcoming home environment by assisting with light household duties and meal preparations.
  • Help clients enjoy their weekends, engaging in delightful activities like reading or watching TV together.
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients and their families, providing unparalleled care and tranquillity.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience necessary; thorough in-house training will be provided.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Must have reliable transport for home visits, outings, grocery shopping, and errands.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management abilities.
  • Innate caring and friendly nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
