About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Support Officer in our busy hospital environment. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our clinical teams, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide administrative support to our clinical teams, including registration, appointments, and correspondence.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records.
- To respond to patient inquiries and provide information on hospital services and policies.
- To work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- To maintain a safe and secure working environment, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
Person Specification
- Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office or similar applications.
- NVQ or RSA 2 or equivalent experience.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience of working in a busy reception area.
- Experience of managing electronic and paper-based diary/appointment systems.
