Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A

The Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A) is part of the Chief Financial Office (CFO). The team works across all lines of business within the region with offshore support from India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting, analysing and communicating the regional performance to senior management and external parties.
  • Strategic/Ad-Hoc Projects: Proactively identifying new opportunities and supporting major cross-LOB projects & initiatives.
Regional Performance Analysis and Executive Support:
  • Ad-hoc analysis, presentations and briefings for senior management.
  • Regional and legal entity performance analysis for executives and key regulators.
  • Country performance analysis for senior management.
  • Presentations for external parties on regional and key legal entity performance.
Regional and Legal Entity Strategy and Planning:
  • Communication of the regional and key legal entity strategy to local regulators.
  • Support for major cross-line of business projects and initiatives.
  • Competitor performance analysis including benchmarking.
  • Consolidated analysis of peer group performance.
  • Monitor news flow / market developments to provide updates to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified).
  • Able to produce high quality, accurate output under tight timescales.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a track record of delivering insightful analysis.
  • Genuine interest in Banking as an industry.
  • Knowledge of investment banking industry.
  • FP&A experience, including building forecasts and generating analysis.
