About Academics Ltd:
We are a specialist school based in Bristol that provides education and support to children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). Our team of experienced therapists, psychologists, and teaching assistants work together to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Psychologist Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced therapists and psychologists to provide support to students with SEMH needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs in the classroom and during break times
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop individualized education plans
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification or higher in a relevant field
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits:
£83.15 per day, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4 pm. The role is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology.
