About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Home First Team as a Senior Occupational Therapist.

Job Summary

This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled and recovery-focused Occupational Therapist to contribute to the development of our crisis team, deliver person-centered care, and prevent inpatient admissions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To assess service users and establish whether they can benefit from occupational therapy intervention.
  2. To undertake specialist ADL assessments and make subsequent recommendations for further occupational therapy intervention.
  3. To liaise directly with social care and community occupational therapists to ensure any recommendations made are communicated.
  4. To make decisions on the level of intervention required and undertake treatment planning.
Requirements
  • HCPC Registration
  • OT BSc/MSc Degree
  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a relevant service
  • Experience of carrying out individual interventions and group work
